About Manly Scenic Walk
The 7km walk runs from Manly to the Spit Bridge or the Spit Bridge to Manly depending which way you are walking. It can also be accessed at various points along the way. Although parts of it (Manly to North Harbour Reserve) are walkable with a buggy, it is best to leave the little ones at home and enjoy this stretch of beautiful coastline in peace.
It is a lovely walk, consisting of coastal paths, bush tracks and occasionally the beach. The paths are extremely well maintained and it is clearly sign-posted. There are also convenient toliets along the way. My favourite the Forty Baskets Beach loo which plays Burt Baccarach. Genius.
Take your time and take water as parts of it are quite hard going. But, the views and the dips into glorious secluded beaches are well worth a bit of sweat.
